On the S.W.A.T. episode “27 David,” when a robbery crew holds up the iconic downtown Los Angeles library, the team discovers that stolen architectural drawings could lead to a major threat against the city. Also, the squad is surprised by the arrival of a new leader, longtime LAPD veteran and former S.W.A.T. member Rodrigo Sanchez, who is portrayed by actor David DeSantos. Hondo (Shemar Moore) describes Sanchez as “arrogant, self-centered, and always wants the credit.”
When DeSantos shared the good news of his new role on S.W.A.T., he shared the series of set photos below. Actor Adam Tsekhman, Gary Green on CW’s The Legends of Tomorrow replied: “Look at those veins!” with a muscular flexed arm emoji.
And when David shared the photo below, actor Seamus Dover (who played a NYPD cop on Castle) replied: “solid elbow work here.” David replied: “You see me.”
S.W.A.T. airs Fridays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Magnum, P.I. at 9 pm and Blue Bloods at 10 pm.
