The protagonist of the new Hallmark Channel movie Taking the Reins is writer Samantha Barclay (Nikki Deloach, Lacey on MTV’s Awkward). Sam returns to her family ranch to write an article about her passion for horses. There “she learns what ended her marriage and why she stopped riding horses.”
Sam’s father Preston is portrayed by TV legend Corbin Bernsen (Psych, L.A. Law), and her elegant mother Bonnie is portrayed by Janine Turner, who is best known for her role as Maggie O’Connell on the TV series Northern Exposure, for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award.
When Janine shared the gorgeous photos above and below from the set of Taking the Reins, more than one fan complimented her on her “sexy legs.”
