At the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee, the slimmed-down golf superstar Phil Mickelson said he was having “so much fun because I can feel my game turn around, I’m starting to play well again, I’m starting to putt well and starting to drive the ball well.”
The 50-year-old pro golfer made seven birdies that Saturday.
Mickelson is also playing well off the course. In July, Mickelson announced a multiyear partnership with VistaJet which he described as “a game changer for me and my family.”
VistaJet offers 70 private jets to fly to 187 countries worldwide.
Mickelson is back in his home state of California to compete at the PGA Champion at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco (Monday, August 3 at 7 pm on GOLF Network).
