On Season 5 of Celebrity Family Feud, host Steve Harvey welcomes retired NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie and his family. They play against salacious talk show host Jerry Springer and his work family.
Team Flutie includes Doug’s daughter, former NFL cheerleader Alexa, son-in-law Ian Sumner, brother Darren and niece Jennifer, but not his wife and high school sweetheart, Laurie Flutie. They married in 1985, and just celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary!
Laurie is the mother of Flutie’s two children, Alexa and Doug Jr., who has autism. The team is playing for The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, of which Laurie is Vice President.
Laurie is also mom to two Yorkies named Lou Lou & Elsa. The dog’s Instagram account is public; Laurie’s is not but the dogs occasionally post a photo of their “Mommy” and “Daddy.” See below.
