Supermodel Chrissy Teigen was the target of criticism by Fox News talking head Laura Ingraham and Teigen, a mom and wife of singer John Legend, hammered back. Ingraham ripped the choice of Teigen as one of Time Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People, deriding the praise Time used to describe Teigen as someone who “likes to eat.” Is that so unusual, Ingraham asked, eating? (Has she never met a supermodel before?) The eating comment is relevant to Time because Teigen is an advocate for positive body image, especially for young girls who are often subject to eating disorders in pursuit of ideal body types.
Ingraham sought to further sully Teigen’s reputation by showing some video of Teigen advising women to say “F–K You” more often. Teigen had been asked what word she would tell women to use more. (see video below)
It’s clear in the aftermath of Ingraham’s digs that Teigen absolutely meant what she said. How do we know? Because she took her own advice in her response. Teigen first employs the sort of light, fun term Corny Monster, sounding like she’s talking to a character on Sesame Street. But then she gets down to business saying: “There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? F–k you.” (We edited that F-word; Teigen did not — she used it whole.)
Corny monster. There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? Fuck you. 😁 https://t.co/wETBvafAzo

The top story on Fox’s 10 o’clock hour is Laura Ingraham raging about @chrissyteigen being named to Times top 100 most influential list. Laura is mad that Mrs. Tiegen said a naughty word pic.twitter.com/BHItYHCoqH
