The plot of the TV movie Love Under the Rainbow isn’t unique to Hallmark Channel. A beautiful young woman who has been let down in love before fears for the worst — that she’ll never find true love — until she meets a kindhearted handsome man who is a single dad to an adorable child. What is unique about the film is the backdrop. Love Under the Rainbow was filmed in the gorgeous city of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. The couple take walks along the waterfront and they take the man’s adorable daughter to the city’s world-renowned aquarium and feed the seals.
The protagonist of Love Under the Rainbow, the single woman Lucy, is portrayed by Jodie Sweetin of Full House and Fuller House fame. The single dad she falls in love with, Jack, is portrayed by Canadian-born David Haydn-Jones of Supernatural. Love Under the Rainbow premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday March 9 at 8 pm.
