Linebacker Vontaze Burfict has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders and Ice Cube, the Raiders biggest booster in all of popular culture, is pretty excited about the 6-foot-1, 255-pound linebacker. Burfict spent seven seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and was a 2013 Pro Bowler. He’s just the kind of player the Raiders and Ice Cube love — he’s self-made. Burfict was an undrafted free agent when the Bengals signed him in 2012. A year later, he’s playing in the Pro Bowl. (Not a total surprise — Burfict was a star at Arizona State. The surprise was that he was overlooked and under-weighted in the draft.)
Another savage added to the mix…☠️ https://t.co/bqgMgV8ovC

Ice Cube, a dynamic entrepreneur who rose from nothing to dominate numerous fields after his hip-hop music success, welcomed Burfict with the Raider Nation’s ultimate sign of respect. Ice Cube said “Another Savage” in the mix. Burfict will join the other savages under Raiders Defensive Coordinator Paul Guenther, who coached the defense in Cincinnati too. A homecoming, of sorts, in Las Vegas and Silver and Black.
