On the Season 6 premiere of When Calls the Heart, “Phone Rings and Heartstrings,” while Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) enjoys her new motherhood and struggles to return to teaching, Abigail (Lori Loughlin) brings telephones to the little town of Hope Valley. You can’t have telephones without a telephone switchboard operator. Not everyone is ready for the new technology nor the arrival of the young, pretty brunette who operates the switchboard, Fiona Miller.

Switchboard operator Fiona Miller is portrayed by Kayla Wallace. The Canadian-born actress just launched her acting career in 2015. So far she’s appeared on The Good Doctor (Grace Mitchell, see great link above), the Hallmark movie Once Upon a Prince (Avery), Lifetime movies Terrified at 17 (Julie Price), Killer Ending (the kidnapped daughter Sarah, see clip below), and Death of a Vegas Showgirl (Alicia), among others. When Calls the Heart airs Sundays at 8 pm on Hallmark Channel.
