SnoofyBee is a baby changing pad designed to keep babies from touching their poop while getting their diaper changed. A soft collapsible barrier wraps around the baby’s waist and can hold toys and teethers to distract the baby. The inventors of SnoofyBee, husband and wife team Michael Perry and Amy Perry of Albany, Oregon, pitched their baby accessory business on Shark Tank in November 2017. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $85,000 in exchange for 10 percent equity. They left with a deal with Lori Greiner — $120,000 for 20 percent. Since the Shark Tank episode aired, the Perrys report that they are shifting their focus towards retail after focusing mainly on online sales and working on getting international distribution. SnoofyBee has also expanded its product line to include Chewy Buckle Teethers (which work with the SnoofyBee changing pad) and an “Earth Friendly Diaper Baggy Dispenser.” New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
