SingTrix is a karaoke system with pitch correction and various vocal effects. Or as the co-founders of SingTrix say it “makes bad singers sound good and good singers sound amazing!” Those two guys, John Devecka and Eric Berkowitz of New York City, who just happen to be the creators of the original Guitar Hero, pitched their entertainment business on Shark Tank in October 2014. They went into the Tank seeking an investment of $1.5 million in exchange for five percent equity. Alas, they did not get a deal.

Four years after Shark Tank, SingTrix celebrated its seventh year in business and with a number of celebrity endorsements. In June 2018, SingTrix was used at actress Tamera Mowry-Housley’s surprise 40th birthday party at a Napa winery which was featured in People magazine. And in October 2018, two of the Kardashian sisters (Kourtney and Khloe) were captured on video using SingTrix with their friend Larsa Pippen, wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, who has more than 1 million followers (see video below). The video garnered more than 315,000 views. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9 pm on ABC.
