The protagonist of the Hallmark Channel movie “Welcome to Christmas” is Madison Lane (Allison Finnigan). Her job as a ski resort developer brings her to the small town of Christmas, Colorado, which could really use a ski resort to boost its local economy. While scouting out the town, Madison has a fender bender and meets the charming and handsome town sheriff Gage McBride. He and the rest of the townspeople try to wow Madison and convince her to bring a ski resort to the town of Christmas. And yes, Madison and Gage fall for each other.
Sheriff Gage McBride is portrayed by Eric Mabius. He’s known for his roles on Hallmark Channel’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered series and TV movies (Oliver O’Toole), Chicago Fire (Jack Nesbitt), Ugly Betty (Betty’s boss Daniel Meade), The L Word (Tim Haspel), The O.C. (Dean Jack Hess), and in a variety of movies including Resident Evil (Matt), Cruel Intentions (Greg McConnell) and Welcome to the Dollhouse (Steve Rodgers), among others.
