In the Criminal Minds episode “Ashley,” the BAU investigates a double homicide and kidnapping in New Hampshire. Agents Prentiss (Paget Brewster) Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) team up with FBI Agent Ashley Seaver when a man Morgan aids in getting parole murders someone days after being released. Last time we saw Agent Ashley Seaver was in the 2011 episode “Supply and Demand.” She is the daughter of serial killer The Redmond Ripper who was caught by Rossi when she was 18. When she became a FBI agent she became a probationary agent with the BAU. She eventually transferred to SSA Swann’s Domestic Trafficking Task Force.
Ashley Seaver is portrayed by Rachel Nichols. The former model and Columbia University graduate is known for her roles on The Librarians (Nicole Noone), Chicago Fire (Jamie Killian), Continuum (Kiera Cameron), Alias (Rachel Gibson), The Inside (Special Rebecca Locke), and in the films Star Trek (Gaila), The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (Julia), The Amityville Horror with Ryan Reynolds (Lisa), and Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (Jessica), among others. Fun fact: Nichols was in two Bon Jovi music videos — “All About Lovin’ You” and “Misunderstood”,among others. Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 10 pm on CBS.
