The Wallet Buckle is exactly what it sounds like — it’s a belt buckle that also functions as a wallet. It can hold up to four credit cards (ID card, debit card, et al) which comes in handy when you don’t want to carry a big old wallet in your back pocket or a purse. The two founders of Wallet Buckle, brothers Trevor Johnston and Justin Johnston, pitched their fashion accessory business on Shark Tank in May 2017. Alas, the Johnston brothers did not get a deal — but they’re still designing cool Wallet Buckles and selling them online (see link below).
The Wallet Buckle has since made a licensing deal with some of the largest sports organizations in the country including the NFL, MBL, NBA and NCAA. A Wallet Buckle featuring your favorite team costs a bit more ($59.95) than the average buckle ($49.95). New episodes of Shark Tank (Season 10, 2018) air Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
