T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle shines the light on the famous couple and their famous friends living in Atlanta. R&B star Monica (wife and mom of 3 kids) is trying to make new music, while Toya (nee Johnson) Wright*, Tiny’s girl from Xscape, is focusing on her family. Of course she’s got her older daughter Reignae Carter (daughter with her ex-husband rapper Lil Wayne) to watch out for, and she has her mom Anita Johnson, a recovered drug addict, to keep tabs on too. And then there’s Toya’s 8-month-old baby Reign Ryan Rushing, to tend to too.
Reign’s father is Toya’s boyfriend, Robert “Red” Rushing, a sports manager in Atlanta who reportedly represents NBA basketball players Tristan Thompson and Dwight Howard. Rushing’s latest endeavor is The Rush Life, “a media hub bringing you inside access to athletes and entertainers like never before.” The 38-year-old businessman played college basketball for Troy University in Alabama before he graduated in 2002. Fun fact: he’s a cousin of R&B singer Faith Evans. T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle airs Mondays at 9 pm on VH1.
*Toya was married to music executive Mickey “Memphitz” Wright (they were on two reality shows together, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars and Untying the Knot. They divorced in 2016.
