Alice’s Table is a business that teaches women how to teach the art of flower arranging and to host flower arranging parties. Alice’s Table provides their “event execs” with the tools (clippers, buckets, watering cans), just like Tupperware provides product to its salespeople. The Event Exec takes home 70% commission on ticket sales to each event before the cost of flowers. On average, a 10-person Alice’s Table party brings in an average of $455. The founder of Alice’s Table, Alice Rossiter of Boston, Massachusetts, pitched her business on Shark Tank in January 2018. She went into the Tank seeking an investment of $250,000 in exchange for 6.25 percent equity. Yes, that’s a $1.56 million valuation. Rossiter made deal with Mark Cuban and guest Shark, Spanx founder Sara Blakey — $250,000 for 10 percent plus an option to buy more equity.

Six months after the Shark Tank episode aired, Alice announced the Summer 2018 Nantucket Collection, which is inspired by the Massachusetts island of Nantucket, where Alice vacations in the summer and where she got married right before she filmed the Shark Tank episode. The wedding flowers must have been gorgeous! See cute photo below. Alice’s Table continues to thrive across the country. [Related: 27 Favorite Shark Tank Products — New List ]
