ProntoBev is a patented product that can chill a bottle of wine in just 30 seconds. Keep in mind, it would take about 20 minutes to chill a bottle in the freezer! And it works not just on wine but anything — vodka, coffee, tea, juice, water, you name it. The inventor behind ProntoBev, Alexander Simone, pitched his business (ProntoConcepts) on Shark Tank in November 2017. Simone went into the Tank seeking an investment of $100,000 in exchange for five percent equity. Yes, that’s a $2 million evaluation. Wine connoisseur Kevin O’Leary is impressed with the product and that it doesn’t dilute the wine which is key. O’Leary makes an offer but he wants half the company. Mark Cuban, who initially went out jumped back in and offered $100,000 for 25 percent contingent on Simone raising another $100,000 for his next beverage product. Simone accepts.

Since Shark Tank, Simone reports that ProntoConcepts (the company that makes ProntoBev) has “far exceeded Cuban’s contingency” and is offering additional shares for potential investors. For potential customers: the price of ProntoBev has been slashed 30 percent, from $139 to $97. (The Chiller Pronto All in One Pourer at Amazon is just $22!) Then there’s the ProntoAer, the world’s fastest aerator. It fits over most glasses, eliminates the need for large decanters, and improves the aroma of wine (now $20). Both ProntoConcepts products are expected to ship this summer. [27 Favorite Shark Tank Products at Amazon — New List]
