In the MacGyver episode “Skyscraper – Power,” Mac (Lucas Till) and Jack (George Eads) are determined to save the young son of a billionaire. The boy, Ethan Jericho (guest star Elisha Henig), has been kidnapped by a former Navy SEAL. He’s being held in a skyscraper in Shanghai which has no power thanks to his crafty kidnapper. When Mac and Jack find themselves in a transportation pinch, they commandeer a private jet. Little do they know, the octogenarian couple on the plane will put up a fight.
Saul is portrayed by Ed Asner. Edith is portrayed by Piper Laurie. The 86-year-old actress Laurie is known for her roles on David Lynch’s Twin Peaks (Catherine Martell), the famous TV mini-series The Thorn Birds (Anne Mueller), and in the films Children of a Lesser God (Mrs. Norman), Carrie (Carrie’s mother Margaret White), and The Hustler opposite Paul Newman (Sarah Packard), among many others.
