Four former winners of The Voice are returning to the show to help coaches prepare their artists for the Knockout Rounds. The Voice‘s first female winner Cassadee Pope (Season 3) will advise Team Kelly; Season 9’s Jordan Smith will help Team Adam; Chris Blue will work with Team Alicia, and last season’s Chloe Kohanski will return to the show to help out Team Blake. One of the first rounds features Team Adam’s Mia Boostrom against Jackie Foster. Jackie was originally on Kelly Clarkson’s team but she “lost” her Battle Round against D.R. King. Adam Levine stole her after their “Sign of the Times” performance.
For the Knockout Round, Jackie Foster will rock out during her cover of the 2003 Evanescence song “Bring Me to Life” which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. Jackie has a lot of experience rocking out on stage. The 22-year-old Berklee College of Music graduate is the lead singer of the alt rock band Self Portraits in New England. Their debut single was “Be O.K.” See live video below. Their cover of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” is rad too. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
