Sharane Calister is the 24-year-old singer from Des Moines, Iowa on The Voice, Season 14. On Team Adam, she recently won her Knockout Round (against Jamai) singing the Beyonce song “All I Could Do Was Cry (Church Bells).” All of the coaches were impressed, especially Alicia Keys who told Sharane, “You’re a shocker for me,” and talked about her potential for growth. For the Live Playoffs, Sharane is going to prove herself when she sings “Never Enough,” the love song featured on The Greatest Showman movie soundtrack. (Hugh Jackman plays P.T. Barnum.)

What’s really interesting about the song, which Vanity Fair described as “a barn-burner diva ballad,” is that it is not sung by actress Rebecca Ferguson who plays Swedish opera sing Jenny Lind (who toured with Barnum in the U.S.) in the film. Loren Allred, a finalist on The Voice Season 3, replaced Ferguson’s vocals in post-production. And yes, Loren was on Team Adam. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
