In the Black Ink Crew episode “The Book of Genesis,” O’S**t speeds off to Atlanta where Nikki is having his fourth child. (She waited until she was 8 months pregnant to tell him they we’re having a baby.) Meanwhile Bae (who’s also pregnant) suggests a shotgun wedding with her man Rob, and Ceaser reaches out to Sky’s son, Genesis. Ceaser thinks he’s doing the right thing by trying to get through to Genesis but Sky freaks out when she hears about their one-on-one meeting.
Before meeting Genesis, Ceaser said, “I’m not going to lie, I’m nervous.” When they sit down, Ceaser smiles at Genesis and says, “I feel like I’m looking at Sky,” to which Genesis says, “No, you’re looking at Genesis.” When Ceaser explains that he’s just trying to find a way to make amends between Sky and Genesis, Genesis says, “You’re not the person I need to talk to for that.” That’s true. For once, and for a brief moment, Ceaser is speechless. When Ceaser says, “I want to try to build a relationship with you,” Genesis says, “I don’t know you, man, I don’t want a relationship with you, man.” Genesis reminds Ceaser that Sky gave him up for adoption and hasn’t seen him in 15 years. And then, Genesis make a bold move. He takes off his eyeglasses and moves the table out from between them. Black Ink Crew airs Wednesdays at 9pm on VH1.
