On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills episode “Unfashionably Late,” Dorit Kemsley plans to relaunch her swimwear line. But she makes a faux pas by not showing up for a meeting with new ‘wife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. (Teddi is the 36-year-old daughter of 66-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer John Mellencamp.) After being stood up, Teddi tells the cameras, “If I want to sit alone and have a glass of wine, I would have done it in the comfort of my own damn home.”
After waiting at the restaurant for 45 minutes, Dorit calls Teddi to tell her “I’m alive but barely functioning.” Dorit goes on to apologize and explains she was on the phone “overseas” and she “couldn’t get them off the phone.” Teddi admits to “not being a technological wizard” but she’s pretty sure “you can be on the phone and send a text.” On Instagram, Teddi wrote that the last time she got stood up was in the seventh grade “when Bradley Summerfeld decided he liked Kate Mitchell more than me because she had a better drop ball game. I haven’t played soccer since.” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
