Peoples Design Scooping Bowl is the clever mixing bowl that comes with a built-in colander and spatula and has a spout on one side for easy pouring. The inventor behind the kitchen tool, professional chef Tyler Peoples of Colorado Springs, Colorado, pitched his business on Shark Tank in May 2017. On the show, he accepted a $75,000 investment from the Queen of QVC Lori Greiner in exchange for 33.3 percent equity. Greiner said of the bowl: “It’s a better mouse trap. Folks will respond to it. It’s a great gadget to have in the kitchen.”
Since Shark Tank, the Peoples Design Scooping Bowl sold out and there haven’t been any updates on the company’s social media accounts since (May). While the Peoples Design Scooping Bowl website is still up and shows the product (available in two colors Corn Flower Blue and Sage and for $22.95) it still says both are Out of Stock.
2paragraphs tried to contact Peoples Design but did not receive a response. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9pm on ABC. [Related: 27 Favorite ‘Shark Tank’ Products at Amazon — New List]
