In the Life in Pieces episode “Thirty-Five Teacher Escape Lottery”, Jen (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Greg (Colin Hanks) think it’s a good idea to hire their nephew’s gorgeous ex Clementine (Hunter King) as a part-time nanny for their daughter Lark. While out at dinner, the waitress mistakes Jen for Lark’s grandmother. Meanwhile, their nephew Tyler (Niall Cunningham) starts dating Alex, who turns out to be his little sister Sophia’s fourth-grade teacher.
Alex is portrayed by Christine Woods. She’s known for her roles on The Odd Couple (Ashley), About a Boy (Liz), The Walking Dead (Officer Dawn Lerner, see photo below), HBO’s Hello Ladies (Jessica), Go On (Janie), Perfect Couples (Julia), and Flashforward (Janis), among others. Life in Pieces airs Thursdays at 9:30pm on CBS.
