In the Will & Grace episode “A Gaye Olde Christmas,” the fab four — Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing), Karen (Megan Mullally), and Jack (Sean Hayes) — wonder what it would have been like living in New York City in the early 20th Century. They have romantic notions of how they would have lived then but then learn their lifestyles would not have been tolerated by society. They learn this from New York City historian Pete.
Pete is portrayed by Brian Posehn. Posehn is a veteran actor and stand-up comedian known for his roles on The Big Bang Theory (Bert Kibbler), New Girl (Biology Teacher), The Sarah Silverman Program. (Brian Spukowski), Reno 911! (Stevie the Coroner), and Just Shoot Me! (Kevin Liotta), among others. Will & Grace airs Tuesdays at 9pm on NBC.
