Marcus Lemonis of The Profit travels to the Manhattan suburb of Englewood, New Jersey to meet with Cory Nieves, the 13-year-old entrepreneur behind Mr. Cory’s Cookies. After moving from the Bronx to New Jersey with his mother (and business partner) Lisa Howard, Cory has been baking his homemade, all-natural cookies and selling them “door to door” out of the back of his red wagon. On The Profit, Lemonis says he’s willing to take a chance on the mother and son business.
This isn’t Cory’s first time on TV. The adorable and dapper young man appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (see video below) and CBS This Morning. Plus, Cory has been acting and modeling since he was 3 years old. His mom told NJ.com in 2013 that Cory has been in commercials for Ralph Lauren and Pillsbury, among others. “That’s what pays the bills,” Howard said. The Profit airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CNBC.
