On The Simpsons episode “Gone Boy,” it’s Bart who goes missing. The whole town of Springfield puts together a search party while Sideshow Bob manipulates Millhouse to reveal where Bart is hiding. During the search, retired 4-time NBA basketball champion Shaquille O’Neal shows up on a snow covered mountain. Homer and Grampa Simpson are surprised to see him (see photo above). It’s the All-Star’s first time on the show!
Check out the gigantic old school snowshoes Shaq is wearing. They must be the largest pair of snowshoes in Springfield! In real life Shaq wears a size 22. For perspective: Shaq’s former NBA rival, 7’6″ tall Yao Ming, wears size 18 shoes. The Simpsons airs Sundays at 8pm on FOX.
