In the Kevin Can Wait episode “Cooking Up a Storm,” widowed retired cop Kevin Gable (Kevin James) claims he can cook Thanksgiving dinner. When it comes time for Kevin to don an apron and cook for his family and his ex-partner-turned-boss Vanessa Cellucci (Leah Remini), Kevin realizes he’s in over his head. After his attempt to peel potatoes with an electric screwdriver, he turns to his flirtatious neighbor Wendy for help.
Flirtatious neighbor Wendy is portrayed by Florencia Lozano. She’s known for her role as Claudia Messina on Netflix’s Narcos and as Tea Delgado Lord on the soap operas One Life to Live and General Hospital. Lozano is also recognized for her roles in the films Perfect Stranger (see link above) with Halle Berry and Bruce Willis (Lt. Tejada), and Veronika Decides to Die with Sarah Michelle Gellar (Dr. Thompson), among others. Kevin Can Wait airs Mondays at 8pm on CBS, right before Man With a Plan.
