Hannah Mrozak is the 18-year-old from Wisconsin competing on Season 13 of The Voice. After performing the Hailee Steinfeld song “Starving” for her Blind Audition, Hannah joined Team Adam. And when Adam Levine pitted her against Brandon Showell during the Battle Round, after singing the Major Lazor song “Cold Water” it was Hannah who advanced. Now Hannah is rehearsing for the Knockout Round.

Days leading up to the Knockout Round, Hannah has taken to social media to talk about her recent breakup. She doesn’t name names. But while she says she’s “sad over” her ex, she also warns her fans in a video (see below). Hannah says: “Do not let your significant other keep you on a leash and keep you being your real self.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC. As many artists before her, Hannah might just turn sad into ecstatic when it comes to her performance.
Word of advice. If you’re trying not to be sad over your ex, don’t listen to “Somebody Else” by the 1975 ?
