EZVIP was a website where you could buy advance tickets and VIP treatment to special events at nightclubs. The young founder of EZVIP, Alashe Nelson, pitched his business on Shark Tank in 2012. On the show, he agreed to a $150,000 investment from Daymond John and Mark Cuban in exchange for 30 percent equity. (Nelson went into the Tank seeking $150k for 15 percent.) On camera, Daymond said he would sweeten the deal by promising Nelson he’d bring “an A-list artist to it.” And he did.

In the Shark Tank update (video below), Daymond travels to Miami to catch up with Nelson and introduce him to Pitbull, aka Mr. Worldwide, who has agreed to become the face of EZVIP. However, since the Shark Tank update, the EZVIP website has closed. The last social media posts are dated December 2014. New episodes of Shark Tank air Sundays at 9pm on ABC.
