In the Designated Survivor episode “Suckers,” a senator misrepresents a private conversation he had with the president (Kiefer Sutherland). He says the president called the American people “suckers.” The media spins “Suckergate” like nothing else is going on in the world. Meanwhile, FBI Agent Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) teams up with tall, dark and handsome MI-6 Agent Damian Rennett to solve an international murder… and perhaps fall into each other’s arms for a long embrace and kiss.
Damian Rennett is portrayed by Ben Lawson. The Australian-born actor is known for his roles on Doubt (DA Peter Garrett), Grimm (William Stillman), Billions (Mikey), Secrets & Lies (Paul Murnane), Rake (Craig), Covert Affairs (Dr. Scott Weiss), and the Australian soap opera Neighbours (Frazer Yeats), among others. Designated Survivor airs Wednesdays at 10pm on ABC.
