Paper Box Pilots sold decorative stickers designed to decorate cardboard boxes to give them the appearance of being toy vehicles (racecars, airplanes, fire engines). The founder of Paper Box Pilots, Brian Cahoon (and his two adorable sons), pitched the business on Shark Tank in 2014. They went into Tank asking for a $35,000 investment. After receiving three offers, Cahoon accepted Kevin O’Leary’s offer of $35k in exchange for 50 percent equity. O’Leary emphasized his experience and connections with Mattel.
