Martínez, now 45, is an eight-time All-Star and 2004 World Series champion. The Dominican-American pitcher played for five teams during his career from 1992 to 2009, most notably with the Boston Red Sox (1998 to 2004). Story goes that growing up in the Dominican Republic, Martínez didn’t have enough money to buy baseballs, so he improvised with oranges. After retiring, Martínez joined the Red Sox as a special assistant to general manager Ben Cherington and became a studio analyst for MLB Network. In 2015, he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame the same year his number 45 was retired by the Red Sox. Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
