Colin Cloud is the 30-year-old Scottish mind reader competing on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. For his audition, Colin says he’s going to perform “the closest thing to a real-life Sherlock Holmes.” He says he can deduce a lot about people based on body language and says his expertise is detecting when people are lying.
On stage, he asks host Tyra Banks for assistance. He promises not to embarrass her as she sits on a stool and holds a hidden prediction. Colin then approaches the AGT judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell. Each judge gets the chance to hold a coin while Colin predicts which hand it will be in — and he gets the audience involved in a big way too. When Colin approaches Heidi to hold the coin and concentrate, she does so with knitted brows. Colin admits, “I am petrified.” Watch the entire act in the video below.
