Grandmas2Share is a line of handmade talking grandma dolls made by a woman named Marguerite Spagnuolo of Staten Island, New York. She got the idea after having her daughter — and when she realized sadly that her daughter would never get to meet Marguerite’s late grandmothers. So, she “recreated” her beloved grandmothers in the form of dolls. Marguerite will pitch her Grandmas2Share on The Toy Box on April 28.
The three different versions of Grandmas2Share – NiNi, MaMu, and Mamita – are available for pre-order on her website for $39.99 each. (They’ll be ready this summer.) Each doll comes with her own storybook and a purse where the grandma keeps photos of her grandchild or grandchildren. When you squeeze her hand, she talks (sometimes she asks for a big hug!) The Toy Box airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC, right before Shark Tank at 9pm.
