In the Superstore episode ‘Integrity Award’, while Glenn (Mark McKinney) aims to win the Cloud 9 Integrity Award and Dina (Lauren Ash) uses Mateo’s (Nico Santos) relationship with Jeff from corporate (Michael Bunin) to fix a number of problems in the store, Jonah (Ben Feldman) goes with Amy (America Ferrera) to help her parents, Ron and Connie (Marlene Forte), move out of her childhood home.
Amy’s father Ron is portrayed by Tony Plana, the actor who played Ferrera’s father on Ugly Betty. Plana is also known for his roles on Lethal Weapon (Ronnie Delgado), Madam Secretary (Admiral Ed Parker), The Fosters (Victor), The Blacklist (Mr. Diaz), and Desperate Housewives (Alejandro), among many others. Superstore airs Thursdays at 8pm on NBC.
