On the Little Big Shots episode ‘The Princess and the Hot Dog,’ the princess refers to 7-year-old Angelina Kelley of O’Fallon, Illinois. She wears a sparkly “Princess” t-shirt when she wrestles. On Little Big Shots, Angelina demonstrates her skills by wrestling three boys (she has two big brothers who btw she says she can beat). At home, the second-grader is a member of the O’Fallon Little Panthers wrestling group. Her coach says: “She’s a scrapper.”
Angelina now weighs 41 pounds but when she was born prematurely she weighed just one pound, 3 ounces. Or the size of a Beanie Baby, as her grandmother says. Angelina spent her first six months of her life in the hospital, until she gained five pounds. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on NBC.
