Kristina tells Nick: “Growing up I didn’t really have much. My mom wasn’t around much to begin with and then one day she said, ‘Don’t eat anything.’” Her mother told her she was going to leave for the day but that she would be back with food. Kristina says back then, when she was 5 or 6, the cupboards were empty. She broke her mother’s rule of not eating anything by eating lipstick. She tells Nick, “It didn’t taste good by any means.” When her mother returned and Kristina admitted to breaking her rules, her mother told little Kristina to get out. “And I really thought she meant it.” So she left. The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
