In The Middle episode ‘Escape Orson’, the entire Heck family spends New Year’s Day in Orson’s escape room. While in the room, Sue (Eden Sher) reveals to Axl (Charlie McDermott) a childhood secret she’s kept since childhood and Frankie (Patricia Heaton) daydreams about being with Frank Sinatra. Meanwhile, Brick (Atticus Shaffer) believes the man assigned to the Escape Room is really the author of the “Planet Nowhere” books.
“Milt” — the mild-mannered man — is portrayed by Barry Livingston. He’s known for his roles in the films War Dogs (Rock Island Bureaucrat), Argo (David Marmor), Jersey Boys (Accountant) and The Social Network (Mr. Cox), among others. Awesome fact about Livingston: He played Ernie Thompson on the My Three Sons (1963-1972). The Middle airs Tuesdays at 8pm on ABC.
