Jenny Taft is one of the few female sideline reporters on FOX Sports. The former collegiate athlete (lacrosse) covers U.S. women’s soccer and college football. She’s been working with FOX ever since she graduated from Boston University in 2010. Her first job was as a “Fox Sports Girl” for the Twin Cities network, Fox Sports North. In 2014, she went on to cover the MLB, the NHL during the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and made her college football debut in 2014.
Fun facts: Jenny’s father John Taft played in the NHL and was the captain of the 1976 US Olympic hockey team. Jenny lettered in hockey, lacrosse and tennis during high school in Minneapolis, and lettered all four years at BU for the Terriers (15 goals, 5 assists, and 44 shots during her career). Jenny is married to Matt Gilroy; they live in Santa Monica, California.
