Two sisters, Sarah Nuse and Megan Reilly, are the founders of Tippi Toes, a dance school for young children (18 months to 12 years old). They pitched their growing business on Shark Tank in 2011 and on the show made a deal with investor Mark Cuban — $100,000 for 30 percent equity. While the deal fell through after the Shark Tank episode was broadcast, Tippi Toes continues to expand and currently has 30 dance studios open via franchises.
On Shark Tank, Daymond John and Mark Cuban asked if Tippi Toes was producing CDs or DVDs. There are now four Tippi Toes CDs (available via iTunes) and another will be released in January 2017.
