Joe McKnight died tragically in what’s being called a road rage incident in Louisiana. The former NFL player and USC college football star was shot and killed on the street. The assailant reportedly stood over a wounded McKnight saying “I told you not to f— with me” before shooting him again.
The football world — college and pro — mourned McKnight’s horrific death. McKnight was just 28 years old. And it wasn’t just fellow players publicly mourning the McKnight tragedy. Rapper Snoop Dogg tweeted “RIP Bro bro. Gone 2 soon.” Heisman Trophy winner and Buffalo Bills running back Reggie Bush and McKnight were both stars at USC, one of the most celebrated football programs in the country. Bush called McKnight’s death “sickening.”
He didn’t deserve to die that way! And then this man stands over him and shoots him again like some kind of wild animal! Sickening ?
