In the first season of Shark Tank, educator Marc Furigay pitched his business Classroom Jams. He’s written and produced original songs set to cool music that teach high school students about Shakespeare. All five Sharks invested ($250,000), a first for the show. In an update segment on Shark Tank, Kevin O’Leary took Marc to educational publishing company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. The cameras follow them into the board room where the directors agree to give Marc’s CD, The Shakespeare Sessions, a national test.

The Shakespeare Sessions is available on Furigay’s Wix website but it doesn’t appear the music is available anywhere else. According to his LinkedIn account, Furigay joined the faculty of Dyett High School for the Arts as an English teacher in August 2016. Dyett is a public school on the South Side of Chicago. Lucky kids!
