The third season of The Affair follows the death of Scotty Lockhart (Colin Donnell). Writer Noah (Dominic West) took the fall for Scotty’s death and is now out of jail — but there are plenty of flashbacks including some curious scenes with a prison guard named Gunther.
Gunther is portrayed by Brendan Fraser. He’s known for his roles in the films The Mummy (Rick O’Connell), Blast from the Past with Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacek (Adam), Gods and Monsters (Clayton Boone), Crash (Rick Cabot), George of the Jungle (George), The Quiet American (Alden Pyle), Bedazzled (Elliot), Airheads (Chester “Chazz” Darvey), and Encino Man (Link), among others. The Affair airs Sundays at 10pm on Showtime.
