In the Chicago P.D. episode ‘Skin in the Game,’ Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Sorensen (Kevin Kane) show up at the house of baseball player Jake McCoy. Inside, they discover the dead body of 16-year-old Maya Collins (Violett Beane). McCoy, who is a friend of Olinsky (Elias Koteas), says he was helping the teen girl escape the sex trade.
The player is portrayed by Billy Burke. He’s known for his roles on Zoo (Mitch Morgan), Major Crimes and The Closer (Phillip Stroh), Revolution (Miles Matheson), Rizzoli & Isles (Special Agent Gabriel Dean), 24 (Gary Matheson), Gilmore Girls (Alex Lesman), and in The Twilight Saga movies (Charlie Swan), among others. Chicago P.D. airs Thursdays at 10pm on NBC.
