SignalVault is a credit card protector that slips into a wallet or billfold. It’s designed to protect the personal information embedded in RFID-enabled cards (credit cards and debit cards) from hackers. The creator of SignalVault, Chris Gilpin, pitched his business on Shark Tank in 2015 and made a deal with QVC queen Lori Greiner and cyber security expert Robert Herjavec — $200,000 for 25 percent equity of the business.
SignalVault claims to last 6 to 9 years and does not require batteries or charging. A SignalVault 2-pack (the company recommends using 2 in one wallet) sells on Amazon. (SEE LINK ABOVE.) SignalVault also makes CellSafe RFID Phone Cases which can hold and protect up to 9 cards. Available in black, white or pink for iPhone 6, iPhone 7, and Samsung S7; they sell for $20.
