In the Kevin Can Wait episode ‘Kevin’s Good Story,’ retired cop Kevin (Kevin James) forgets his wedding anniversary with wife Donna (Erinn Hayes). To get himself out of the anniversary jam, Kevin uses Goody’s (Leonard Earl Howze) heroic cop story from years earlier but Kevin eventually gets caught in the lie and confesses to Father Phillip, the priest at Kevin and Donna’s church.

Father Phillip is portrayed by Jim Breuer. He’s known for his various roles on Saturday Night Live including Joe Pesci and Goat Boy (1995-1998) and for his role as Brian in the 1998 film Half Baked with David Chappelle. In “real life” Breuer is married with kids: he’s been married to Dee Breuer for 24 years; they have three children. Kevin Can Wait airs Mondays at 8:30pm on CBS.
