NFL: Undrafted is a docu-series that follows a handful of promising, undrafted college football players who are working hard to get on an NFL team roster. Season 3 of NFL: Undrafted follows tight end Laquan McGowan, wide receiver Jakeem Grant, punter Swayze Waters, linebacker Jeremiah Allison, quarterback Mike Bercovici, and defensive back Mariel Cooper.

Cooper played college football at South Carolina State for four years before playing at The Citadel for the 2015 season. In May 2016, the 5’11”, 192-pound defensive back signed a contract as a free agent with the Washington Redskins. Cooper was one of 33 tryout players during the Redskins’ rookie minicamp. According to the Redskins website, Cooper played four pre-season games before being released in September. NFL: Undrafted which airs Tuesdays at 8pm.
