On the Manzo’d with Children episode ‘Newlywed Games’, while newlyweds Lauren Manzo Scalia and her husband Vito Scalia bicker over work, matriarch Caroline Manzo suggests that they switch jobs for a day. Vito works at his family’s deli, The Best of Little Little in Monroe, New York. And Lauren runs a blow-out hair salon in Franklin Lakes. Lauren says she knows what she’s up against, “Vito says he’s an artist. Every cheese plate he makes, he takes a picture of it and texts it to me and says ‘I am an artist.’”
Vito struggles to wash a client’s hair while Lauren masters the art of slicing prosciutto and making sausauge. Vito’s father (Vito) watches Lauren making a hero and tells her, “You’re like a professional.” Vito’s mother kids about keeping Lauren at the deli and having her son stay at the salon. Manzo’d with Children airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
