Al “Bubba” Baker, the former NFL football player (Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions), is the entrepreneur behind De-Boned Baby Back Ribs (now branded as Bubba’s-Q Boneless Ribs. It’s a line of boneless baby back ribs that can be microwaved and easily eaten (compared to baby back ribs with bones). Baker and his daughter Brittani pitched the business on Shark Tank in December 2013. They made a deal with Daymond John – $300,000 for 30 percent equity.
Bubba’s-Q Boneless Ribs are now available online, at Costco, and at QVC, where you can purchase (4) 18 oz. Rib Steaks in Sauce for $110 (shipping included).
