The San Francisco 49ers aren’t the favorite to win on Thursday (October 6) against the Arizona Cardinals. The Niners lost to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday (October 2) 24-17, and now their inside linebacker NaVorro Bowman is out for the whole season due to a torn Achilles tendon. 49ers fans hope to see outside linebacker Aaron Lynch on the field on Thursday.
The 23-year-old Lynch is back after a four-week suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. During his time-off, he lost almost 30 pounds and became a father. Last week, his wife gave birth to a boy named Messiah Nathaniel Lynch. (See photos below.) Regarding his chances of playing, Lynch says, “We’ll only know Thursday if I’m in game-ready shape.” The Arizona Cardinals vs San Francisco 49ers game will be televised at 8:25 PM on CBS.
